The fellowship and previous members and friends of Lower Earley Baptist Church would like to join Sylvia’s family and friends and the fellowship at Tyndale Baptist Church in giving thanks to God for Sylvia’s life and ministry.

Sylvia was a much loved part of the wider Baptist world particularly the Berkshire Baptist Association. As a church we greatly appreciated Sylvia’s help and wisdom as Moderator during our last interregnum in 2003/2004. Sylvia showed us love, care and attention and helped us discover where God was leading us.

She was also a great preacher and teacher and blessed us greatly as she brought God’s Word to us on many occasions.
